          it’s not the worst thing that’s ever been said about her,      but it’s something she’s heard before. or, rather, she’s read it on the walls of the bathroom, accompanied by a detailed though no less scathing sketch scrawled out in sharpie. but this time, it’s not the rumor itself that’s so infuriating, but the fact that it’s resurfaced. “they washed that off the walls months ago!” rachel’s practically shouting in the middle of the fairly crowded hallway, though the volume of her voice has never been a concern whatsoever. “did someone draw it again?! was it quinn? your other blonde friend? have you been going around telling people about it?!”

        brittany’s been on their bed for the past half hour , watching santana from where she’s laying .  she’s been pretty quiet the entire time , only ever nodding or humming a quiet mhmm whenever santana tries to start up conversation with her .  her mind is racing a mile a minute with thoughts that she’s sure she probably shouldn’t be having .  if only because she’s insecure about the decision and knows it’ll change everything .  would it be for the better ?  that she doesn’t know .  head tilts as she reaches her hand out towards her wife .  teeth bite down on her bottom lip before she lets out a breath and finally speaks .      “  santana , come over here .  sit with me .  i want to run something by you .  ”

         her back is facing santana , fingers messing with the fake blonde hair attached to the doll head on her locker door .  head spins around at the accusation , sadness clearly written across her face .      “  honey , no .  of course i’m not trying to reject you .  ”        she closes the locker slowly , turning to face her girlfriend .  she leans against it , fingers reaching out to play with santana’s hair .       “  i’m just not feeling very sexy today .  i love you though , okay ?  that’s not gonna change .  ”
