Is there a reason the author of HataMaou decided Chiho should end up with Maou instead of Emilia? Rather than the rumors saying Chiho was his favorite, I’d appreciate a more logical explanation from narrative perspective.
Ok, I know I already said that I wont post anything about hataraku..but well, since many of you guys still asking this kind of question, I will took one which I hope will answer the rest of questions regarding these.

In regards to Hataraku Maou-Sama’s finale fiasco I’d like to give my 2 cents. First I’d like to say I’m not mad or heartbroken, I’ve been out of the loop for quite a while, been really busy with real life, so I did not really care that much about the ship anymore (I still wanted it to happen though), I stopped reading the novels after vol 13 because, honestly it had become really uninteresting and stale (of course, this is only my opinion, feel free to disagree) but I kept coming back to check for spoilers once every few months. I always felt really confident that maouemi was endgame mainly because it did not make sense to me that Wagahara would spent 21 volumes making Emi fall in love with Maou just for her not to get the guy. I mean, come on, if it was left ambiguous that Emi liked Maou we could say that we misunderstood his intentions but it was never the case. As Chiho was gaining spotlight on later volumes I thought Wagahara was putting suspense to the romantic plot, after all, if the final pairing was too obvious it would alienate the shippers of the not chosen couple, it’d be boring for the readers but turns out that’s what he had planned. The way I see it (and from what I read it was even stated in the novels by Chiho for god’s sake) there is no other man but Maou that Emi could be with, no one else measures up to her, not by a long shot, it’s unfathomable. It’s not the same for Chiho, she could be perfectly happy with any other random guy. And yet Emi is the one left alone, as a single mother no less. I just don’t get it, do you hate Emi, Wagahara sensei? It’s a good thing that I was not as emotionally involved as I used to when this happened, I’d be pissed out of my mind and heartbroken. Meh, guess it’s time to move on, but in my mind Maou and Emi will always belong together. That’s all. Sorry, Wagahara sensei, I think you made a mistake.
Maou is really the doting father type lol
For those of you who are wondering
Alas Ramus slept on the bed while Maou and Emi slept side by side (or more like, back to back?) on a futon beside the bed. Emi insisted that Maou should sleep on the farther side from Alas Ramus' bed so that he won't get disturbed when their daughter wakes up in the middle of the night. (d'aaaAAAAWWWWWW)
They were mostly not facing each other on the first week but when Emi felt troubled about Emerada, they actually faced each other on the futon with Maou comforting her. Maou turned his whole body to face Emi while Emi lied on her back with her head facing him.
THAT'S ALL FOR THE FAN SERVICE REPORT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
