Today I got my first testosterone shot. I’m happy and also terrified. Change is scary to my poor autistic self, no matter how much I may want said change. Also I don’t like needles.
I tried not shaving for a few days to capture what little beard growth I had before testosterone (thank you PCOS) but it’s barely noticeable. I’m hoping to be able to grow a beard. I’m a hairy person in general so it should be possible. I’m also looking forward to a deeper voice.
That said I’m scared to hope for these things. What if they don’t happen?
Hopefully I can look back in a few months time and laugh at my worries.
Time will tell!
I’m gonna meet my hormone doctor for the first time tomorrow and aaaaaaaaaaaaa my nerves!
I’m excited and i’m terrified my mind is going through worst case scenarios ranging from the doctor going “PSYCHE, we not gonna help you” to me crashing head on into a semi truck on the very long drive there (thank you, brain)

2017 has been a rubbish year for me. Just all around terrible in so many ways.
Back in January I learned how to make paper stars and made a promise to myself that for every time I was genuinely happy I would fold a star. Because I had a feeling this year would be shit.
I didn’t end up with a lot of them, but it’s nice to know there were some good moments among all the crap.
I’m going to continue this for 2018 cause I have a bad feeling about it as well. Let’s see how it compares in another years time.
