I hate davekat so much that it's honestly making me hate karkat as a character
Real
Hot Take #10
This isn't a hot take its just true.
(I dont hate davekat as a ship, I hate how the fandom ships Davekat)
as someone who has 5+ friends in jrotc and is in CAP (civil air patrol) u seriously just sound sensitive as fuck, we’re not directly connected to the military itself and even if we were who ru to care lol .. fyi most kids in jrotc do it only for extra credits and CAP gives u a better chance to get a good job in the future even outside of the air force…
job, huh that must be a scary word for u
I genuinely could not give less of a shit. Its still about the armed forces, the navy, the military, etc. Admittedly I don't know a lot about it, mainly because I don't fucking care, but people who are willingly aligned with the US government in any capacity at all are a fuck no from me. There are other ways to get credits that don't involve entering a program aligned with the US armed forces. I'm not here to give you a whole ass dissertation on it, but fuck the government and fuck the military. Go off anon and tell me more about how you love to bootlick
i hate hate hate hate when people complain about words. "oh but we don't need that many words" why wouldn't we. i've heard enough shit about portuguese teachers (im a native portuguese speaker) saying "we don't need all these neutral pronouns stop complicating language and creating more stuff all the time" do you hear yourself rn like what do you think language is for, being static forever instead of being a tool that serves reality and not the way around, and tools evolve all the time to better serve their purpose, like science and math????
So I finished reading Piranesi yesterday and it was SO unsatisfying. I was really really enjoying the book throughout most of it and the writing style was lovely, but the ending was kinda anticlimactic, and it ruined the whole experience for me tbh. Feels like I wasted my entire weekend :/
Also content warning to any queer people thinking of reading it: it's lowkey really homophobic
Get help weirdo
this is the funniest fucking ask i've ever received thank you
