you know, it's really dangerous to romanticize criminals, even in fanfic. Just something to think about.
I have this remarkable ability
to separate fiction
from reality
crime and law are relative
and not innately reflective of morality
which is also relative
just hush and let me do my thing
Tb to last New Years with this little Munchkin @fuckindoit....I realise you're probably going to kill me for these photos but I feel like they describe us so perfectly because no matter how many years pass, whenever we get in the same room all my problems seem smaller and it feels like everything is going to be okay, we are absolutely mad and certainly different but I wouldn't change a thing 😍 you make me laugh until my stomach aches and tears are streaming down my face, I can be myself with you and that feeling is so important. I cannot wait to see you over Christmas and bring on more ridiculous, stupid, laughter filled nights! Love you girl 💕🎄
Chicago I am in you

“I love everything you hate about yourself”
Okay, so what about my hatred of my tendencies to, even without my knowledge of manipulating pawple? What about that?
"It is a great shame that an author of such skill was taught to disparage her own writing, but little surprise."
I was introduced to Georgette Heyer just as I was becoming a devoted bookworm. I always felt a little embarrassed when people asked me what I was reading, without really knowing why. Now I understand it has so much more to do with society's general disrespect for women than the quality of Ms. Heyer's work.
Creating something from an idea in your head, be it artistic, scientific or commercial, is hard. Really hard. Ms. Heyer wrote 38 books about the workings of the human heart. Thirty-eight, when most people haven't written more than an assigned theme in school! That's an incredible thing and it makes my heart sore that she felt her work was "less than" because she wrote romance novels.
Sure, it’s a genre. But so is “western” and “crime,” and Louis Lamour and Jeffrey Archer were considered kings of fiction.
Btw, Standard Issue is a great online magazine--I highly recommend it for daily reading.
person: that comes in
very handy
me: okay...that sounds fake but okay
