I could never actually say "I hate my ex" because I really don't. I dislike what he did to us, but I do not hate him. But I understand what people mean when they say they hate their ex after a break up. Some people are like "idk how you can say you hate your ex when at one point they made you the happiest you have been." Well, you're right. That's exactly why I do not hate my ex, because he made me so so so happy. However, I know why people "hate their ex" after because they did exactly that. They made you the happiest you have ever been, and took it all away when they left. So yeah it makes sense why you could hate your ex, but it also makes sense why you could never really hate them.
