This is one of the most soothing songs I know of. When my parents and I would take day trips in the city, we had a mixtape containing the title track to this album. That got me to listen to the rest of the album, and I was hooked by the time I was in middle school. I associate Bonobo with all the things I like about the city, but particularly this song. I usually listened to the rest of the album after we got home from trips, and that's just what it sounds like to me now: it's the sound of coming home and being able to rest your head somewhere familiar. I only hope I can make something like this sometime.
