OK hear me out. I get why Takeru has a massive hat collection (Character Design Reason: his haircut is shockingly tame & unremarkable by Digimon standards, he needs to stand out. In-Canon Reason: he likes them, why not?) but Sora? SORA IS THE ORIGINAL QUEEN OF MANY HATS why did it take me this long to realize??
Before Takeru had The Gilligan, Sora had both the Hard Blue and the Soft Blue.
Around the same time as Takeru switched to the Gilligan, the Soft Yellow/Orange makes an appearance.
She had a super-cute one Tri (yes obviously Takeru had more but sometimes it’s about QUALITY OVER QUANTITY TAKERU, geez)
They even gave her a new hat in the reboot!!
