I am soul-weary. I am heartbroken. I am angry. What has most recently happened in Charlottesville (and so many other stories that we never get to hear about) is hatred, pure and simple. It is not free speech. It is hatred. It is racism. It is murder. This is neither the will nor the work of the God and Jesus that I believe in, love, and live for. This is not Christianity. This is not humanity. This is hatred, period. And there are no words strong enough to condemn the implementation, the support, and the encouragement of actions like this. We will not buckle.
