How can you know if a stone evolution Pokémon is ready/wants to evolve? (Since they don't do that naturaly)

That's a good question! They'll actually tell you :)

There's often a misconception that Pokemon aren't capable of communicating with humans. This is, of course, false. Pokemon are very inteligent and are more than capable of communication, however there can be a lot of obsitcles.

First, most of time there is a language barrier. It's pretty common with isolated wild pokemon to not even know human language.

Second, pokemon need humans to be direct. They can't 'talk' back so they largely rely on physical gestures and "yes and no" type questions to get their point across. This gets easier when said pokemon lives with a human full-time, and most humanoid pokemon can use sign language.

Third, humans are largely unaware of certain customs among wild pokemon. For example, I've found that it's good manners among wild Hatterene to bow as opposed to a vocal greeting. 9 times out of 10 it will definitely save you from an ass beating since not doing so is considered rude.

So, yeah, just ask and they will tell you :):):)

Honestly, mostly just because it's funny. The whole line hates any strong emotions, even happy ones, and Queen of Hatred became what she is because everyone was too happy and there was no more "villains" for her to fight. I chose Hatterene because it's described (in Scarlet) as blasting intruders into its territory with beams, which is Queen of Hatred's main attack when she transforms, and (in Violet) as living in forests which are completely devoid of other life, which is reminiscent of her battle background in Library of Ruina.
