I finished watching season 2 of caped crusader... spoilers:

I suppose I had my hopes too high for Hattie, but I didn't expect her to simply do nothing and then get killed off, its like they didnt even try to make her interesting ;( it's a shame, i was hoping she would become one of my favs 💔

The rest of the season was alright i guess, i liked episode 6 the most 🫠

I adore her design, she's adorable.. but that's about it

Hattie’s parents did perform a lobotomy on her, along with many other experiments like performing a real life Russian Sleep Experiment on her, testing drugs and chemicals on her, all these awful things cause her parents didn’t see her as their daughter, but as their personal test subject so there’s no record of her at all and she technically doesn’t exist because her parents wanted her all to themselves and other crazy mad scientist friends. So Hattie doesn’t have compassion of empathy for anyone or anything, she literally cannot feel those things anymore since her prefrontal cortex’s connection to the rest of her brain is severed. So like she still has her Dollhouse where she kidnaps her victims and either poisons/drugs them and watches what happens at her tea parties, or plays games with them like Hide and Seek where Hattie lets them loose in her murder house and hunts them down to kill them

And she’s gonna have her candy gore thing where she cries candy and cuts herself open and it’s cake because why not? There won’t be any actual explanation for it because I don’t have one and neither does anyone else-

To be honest, I’m actually really excited for season two of Batman Caped Crusader. I actually really liked what they’ve done so far and I sit with heavy anticipation for what they plan to do next.

Currently, I’m most excited to see what they do with the Riddler and Mad Hatter; more so the Mad Hatter because I’m really interested in what they plan on doing with a gender swapped version of him who (from the teasers) appears to be a talk show host. I personally think that this could be a really interesting interpretation of Jervis/Hattie Tetch, especially with the mind control stuff we’ve seen with previous versions of the character.

She is very beautiful to me ❤️
