last movie i watched: I watched clips from Twilight: Eclipse for reference to a thread.....

top three tv shows: I don’t really have a top 3?? Like, I’m currently watching Community and it’s brilliant, OUAT for obvious reasons and the great British bake off because who doesn’t love drinking tea and watch people flail over cakes and biscuits and..... ooohh see my go to at the moment is doctor who and Brooklyn 99 so... take that as you will

books i’m currently reading: I’m tryna read Hidden Figures but I can’t quite get into it and I’m also nearly finishing Circe by Madeline Miller (again because I love her)

Little care nor concern could the March Hare hold anymore. Being torn to shreds and ‘fixed’ by the Queen of Heart’s standards does that to a person. Scar around his neck further proof of her own decisiveness-- never was, lest it involved swift removal of a body part. However, he’s ultimately ‘fixed’ now. Better than before. Her favorite killer, her favorite in general. How, really, was he expected not to act the way he did.

He may just be her pet, so to speak, but he still has more perks than most others in the kingdom. Couldn’t care less about others, most of the time. Even those he might have been meant to know before. Couldn’t recall much, could he. Even his little friends have since dwindled and vanished without his knowledge, He could hunt them down now for all he cared and still ultimately be  unaffected. It’s their lives, not his. He lives to kill. That’s what she’d decreed.

. The Tailor’s Apprentice .

         It was long awaited — the day he finally mustered up the courage to even step foot inside the mystical shoppe. Graham swallowed hard, eyes wide with wonder as he peered in through the darkened glass of the front window. No surprise as to why some might say he was  m a d  — Jefferson’s work was quite brilliant, to say the least. The way he turned yards of fabric into gorgeous works of art in just a day or so was astonishing; so were the rumours that he could eyeball anyone’s measurements with spot on precision.

         Graham’s jaw nearly dropped in awe when glimpse of the mad man, so focused on his work, caught his eye. Clearing his throat, he straightened his stance, adjusting his tie. With one last glance upon the window, he flipped through his portfolio, so desperately hoping that his work would be enough. Something that would catch Jefferson’s eye — that it would even be considered something special.

          He cleared his throat again, swallowing down the hard lump of anxiety that had been brewing in his throat. ‘I can do this,’ Graham said to himself under his breath. Lids fell to a moment’s close, and he finally came to open the heavy wooden door, sounding the jingle of an old, worn bell. There was no backing out now.

          Footfalls slowly trekked across hardwood floors, eyes taking in all the wondrous garb. He shook his head:   f o c u s   . Fingers tightened their grip on the leather bound portfolio. With a few more steps, Jefferson came into view — ‘twas such an honour to catch glimpse of the mad man deep in his work.

          Graham let out a low, polite cough, “Uhm . . . Excuse me,” he began, forcing confidence to wash over his nerves, “I want to be your apprentice, Sir.”

The diner seemed to have had a more busier day than usual, Ruby ran off her feet with orders and coffee top ups. The bell on the door constantly rolling. The town had been flustered after the break of the curse, near weeks later still wreaking havoc as families rediscovered themselves. Tensions breaking between past and present lovers.

Checking each of the tables, she looked over granny as to who had come in next. Referencing to a table in the corner, Ruby bounced over, holding her customer service facade on as she came over to the man. “Hi, what can I get you today!”

Jefferson had rarely shown himself around town during the curse, that Ruby could remember. Yet it was known Ruby had spent a lot of time with one man in particular, Dr Whale.

Before the man had chance to answer, Ruby placed down a cup in front of him, “Coffee?” She mused, holding the pot in her hand. “It’s still fresh!”
