"Imagine being a character in a horror/suspense film…connecting with actors in a way never experienced. You move through a dark, new world, immersed in a most unique theatrical experience. Your experience will be dictated by how deep you let yourself go. Lines between space, performer and audience shift. The action happens within the world you explore. You must participate to fully realize your journey into darkness. You will be asked to perform certain safe actions to move the twisted tale forward.
Come to the refuge, and play your part."
I've heard amazing things about this interactive play. Heard it's an awesome, terrifying, and completely unique and different Halloween experience. Oh and Neil Patrick Harris is part of the team that makes this event as well. Tell me all about it if you decide to go!

I'm actually crazy because I'm already thinking about what I'm going to be doing during Halloween time this year and it's only April.
Anyway, anyone heard of the Haunted Play? It's insane. Produced by NPH and John Braver and written and directed by John Braver. I've been batting around ideas of going to it since last year, but I've finally decided that this will be the year that I subject myself to self-imposed nightmares and shock.
It's really, really cool though! It's way different than most haunted houses that pop up EVERYWHERE during halloween and much, much more intense than any horror movie can be because, in "Delusion", you are in the horror movie; that's probably why they call this an "interactive play".
So I know one thing that I'll definitely be doing for Halloween this year. The question is, how much will I cry while doing it?
Here's the website in case anyone is interested in it: http://www.hauntedplay.com/.
For folks living in Los Angeles, this is an AWESOME Haunted House! It's co-produced by Jon Braver and Neil Patrick Harris. Be prepared to wait a bit to get in even if you have tickets. Once in, you are in a truly interactive play that, when we went, took about 45 minutes to go through. Be advised there's alot of walking and climbing stairs, so wear comfortable shoes. And it's SCARY....so, you've been warned :)
Have fun!
