Today @doctorsparksshow and I had a virtual school event. It was fun working on the Typewriter Stories again. This time I tried getting fancy with my background painting since the story the students came up with talked about a mysterious space cloud. if you’re ace and attracted to the “opposite sex” (sorry idk how else to phrase that) that. kinda makes you Not Gay. like aces who arent attracted to Anyone At All arent straight but. being ace does not automatically make you Not Straight and honestly cishet aces who identify as Not Straight lowkey make me uncomfortable 

i think the reason it rubs me the wrong way is because when cishets (cishet aces are cishet sorry) try to identify as queer its like. okay you’re ace, and yes ace people do face discrimination but you aren’t systematically oppressed and never will be for being ace. you wont be murdered or denied healthcare for being ace. being ace and only ace does not make you queer.

idk if i worded that right im having a really brain weird time right now but basically being ace doesnt make you gay
