Trying to process the full panic attack I am having after going to the dentist. He was only wearing a face shield that was too small for his face and I could see droplets from his mouth falling towards my face. There was no temperature screening and when I brought it up he said, “well I trust you’ll let me know if you are sick.” And then ranted about the “crud” pandemic keeping people from going to the dentist. Needless to say I’m never going back again. I kept telling myself to say more. To ask him to wear a mask. To just walk out. Why am I so darn timid and easily intimidated? 😭 I’ve already been having nightmares about this kind of stuff. Today @doctorsparksshow and I had a virtual school event. It was fun working on the Typewriter Stories again. This time I tried getting fancy with my background painting since the story the students came up with talked about a mysterious space cloud. It’s been 4 weeks of my sketch a day experiment and I’ve decided I am taking a break from it. A combination of really bad social media anxiety and a bigger workload at my day job tell me it won’t be good for my mental health to push myself to do this. I might come back to this once my day job situation goes back to normal, but it’ll depend on how I feel anxiety-wise.
