Haunting Fear has a few titles all bad. Another Poe pastiche (Poestiche?) about a woman terrorized in her sleep…and beyond. Good to see some of these people and a cute Trilogy of Terror ending in a nod to Karen Black but the 3ish minutes the great Michael Berryman is in this are my highlight. From a prolific softcore porn dude.

Haunting Fear has been released on Blu-ray via Retromedia Entertainment. The 1990 horror film available exclusively from Makeflix for $24.99, autographed by scream queen Brinke Stevens.
Based on the Edgar Allan Poe short story “Premature Burial,” the movie is written and directed by Fred Olen Ray (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, Evil Toons). Brinke Stevens, Karen Black, Jan-Michael Vincent, Michael Berryman, Robert Quarry, Robert Clarke, Delia Sheppard, and Jay Richardson star.
Haunting Fear has been newly transferred in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative with 2.0 stereo audio. A trading card (pictured below) is included. Read on for a list of special features.
