Camera Stolen. New Camera on Credit. Eeek!
I'm sad to say I just got back from a beautiful backpacking location, and have no pictures to share with all of my friends. While on my trip to Havasupai with Kael, someone came through the campground on our second night stealing items from almost every tent site. Most items taken were smaller things like pocket knifes, and whatnot, but someone broke into my bag and stole my camera, all of the accessories I brought with me, and my photographed memories with Kael in one fell swoop without us even hearing. I was one week shy of having the funds to pay for a year of business insurance (covering such losses), and now I am headed to Las Vegas tomorrow to buy a new camera for a scheduled shoot this upcoming Tuesday. This is when credit cards come in hand I guess...
On a positive note, I will now have the camera I’ve been eyeing for a while. Time for an upgrade! ;-)
