Went with gut reaction and am now judging analyzing my life choices:

Observation 1: I guess I don’t like reading AUs or crossover fic...? hilarious considering my WIPs folder... although maybe that’s why those fic are still in the WIP folder...

Observation 2: Sex Pollen and Fuck or Die fic are always and forever godtier, I did not stutter. Any trope that started as a Star Trek TOS episode is beyond reproach. It’s about... biology. Vulcan. BIOLOGY.
