That's the name of our new beer we've been teasing you about and it's almost ready. Boom! Roasted is an imperial wheat stout brewed with barrel-aged Brazilian coffee beans. @lucasroastingco (Alton) aged the beans in a @tamworth_distilling wheat whiskey barrel and then roasted them to perfection. That's when we got the beans and we went to work. Boom! Roasted (8.8% ABV) is silky smooth thanks to the 100 pounds of wheat and the addition of flaked oats. Right off the bat the oak, coffee and whiskey jump out in the aroma. And on the first sip, you taste the chocolate in the coffee and the smoothness of our complex but harmonious grain bill, all surrounded by the oaky goodness that the barrel imparted. We're incredibly excited to share with you this project we've been working on with our neighbors.
