Who: @havenbsinclair Where: Grocery Store
The grocery store was the epitome of mundane routine for Kanyon. He had his shopping list in hand, methodically ticking off items as he moved through the familiar aisles. It was a task he had performed countless times, a part of his weekly regimen. But this time, it was different.
As he turned into an aisle, his eyes widened in disbelief, and his heart skipped a beat. There, standing by the canned goods, was a face from the past that had haunted his memories for over a decade. It was Haven, the mother of his child, whom he hadn't seen in 11 years.
The rush of emotions was overwhelming—shock, surprise, joy, and a tinge of apprehension. He hadn't expected to encounter her here, or anywhere really. He took a moment to compose himself before approaching her, his mind racing with a myriad of thoughts and questions.
"Haven," he called out softly, trying to keep his voice steady. He approached her cautiously, unsure of how she would react to seeing him after so many years. He had replayed this scenario in his mind a thousand times, but reality was always different.
