Also... as I was writing this I realized that given the barrier around this landscape, it could be totally be seen as Melian's guarded realm - Doriath... well, I guess if the buildings were a little more impressive than thatched roof huts, it could be - haha. Maybe I'll have to do a "Doriath" version of this scene at some point... #random Tolkien related thoughts

I re-did the little Aura from yesterday! The resolution is higher now obviously, but I also tried to make her seem just a tad older. This Aura only appears in one panel of the cutscene - which will go by pretty fast - so she doesn't have to be perfect. However given she IS the main character and this is the first time we see her, I figured she could use a little refining here.

Aura is the main character of Havencall, a story-heavy fantasy adventure game...

So today I've been working on a cut-scene for Havencall where the main character is supposed to be about 4 years younger than she is normally. I kinda wonder if I aged her down too much in this frame though? She's supposed to be ~16 main game, ~12 here...hmm...

In other news, the new cutscenes, which are comic-style, are going to be WAY better than the old ones. Here's a little sneak-peek at a panel from a later scene (this is not Aura btw):
