This tasty Crock Pot Luau Ham will take you to the islands. When you mix pineapple juice, brown sugar, and spices together, you get a tasty glaze that gives the ham a tropical taste. Great for a family dinner or having people over!
Ingredients: 1 bone-in ham 6-8 pounds. 1 cup pineapple juice. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup honey. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ground ginger. 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves.
Instructions: Put the ham in the crock pot. Put pineapple juice, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and cloves in a small bowl. Make sure the ham is evenly covered as you pour the mixture over it. Put the lid on top and set the heat to low. Cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until the ham is soft and the internal temperature reaches 140F 60C. If you want, baste the ham with the juices every so often while it's cooking. The ham should be left to rest for a few minutes after being cooked before it is sliced. Put ham slices on a plate and pour the slow cooker juices over them.
