Girl... I’m so excited

K and I haven’t seen each other for a minute, only connecting with FaceTime or Snapchat. Which is great, but I👏🏾 miss👏🏾 my 👏🏾 man👏🏾. So my job worked out in me putting in my request to take off for next week so I can see him because he has some days off next week. When I tell you I’m in preparation mode...... I’m so ready🙌🏾 it’s kinda seeming like things are looking good for us to finally start planning for our life together ❤️ I’m so ready!❤️

I’ve been a bit busy these past few weeks with getting ready for Ks PCS. We had planned 5 days together and then I take him to the airport. I drove down from work and took him to do his final clearing. Then we spent the night at his friends apartment and woke up the next morning and.... well.... we got Married!! ❤️ The whole experience was more than I ever thought and it was perfect!! It was just us and God at the courthouse, just us proclaiming our love for each other. It was so great he was crying I was crying, the judge was a little tearful too😂. But the thing is no one knows we are married....😬 our parents don’t his friends don’t my family doesn’t know nor do my friends. The reason why we chose this route was because we don’t wanna be with anyone else than each other, and I know we would’ve regretted not doing it after he left. But we are keeping it like we are still dating for our families so they can experience their children’s wedding day and go through the engagement process with us. But honestly my little courthouse wedding weekend was something special ❤️. After we left the courthouse we went back to the car and cried and we were so overjoyed about what just happened. Then we drove into Austin to get our room for the weekend and just spent the evening as man and wife which still blows our mind😂. The next day K 🤦🏾‍♀️ rented a Porsche so we could take a day trip honeymoon into Wimberley. It was so peaceful and quite and the people were so nice! And we had Ice cream and did some shopping in the local stores! We headed back that evening so we could have one last dinner with his friends from post, and it went from dinner to a bar to dancing it was so much fun!! K and I hadn’t had our “Dance night” so it was nice to finally get to do it. And we were surrounded by the people who love him! When we said our goodbyes it was heartbreaking, I was tearing up and K was shedding some tears on our way to the car, and when we got back to the room he broke down, All I wanted to do was fix everything for him but all I could do was hold him and just let it out. We both cried that night and the next day too because we knew our time was coming to an end. The morning we got up to take him to the airport was a quiet one, we held hands the entire drive there, and exchanged letters we had written to each other. We said our goodbyes thanking each other for the time we shared, and he kissed the necklace he gave me then kissed me. Then he headed inside. I’ve come to realize that K and I both grew together as adults and as a couple and I can’t see doing life without him. So that’s why I’m August I’ll be moving in with him in Hawaii ❤️I’m so excited to see our future blossom together.

I Fucked Up

K and I want to start doing some hobby stuff and he has a lot of ideas so I told him without THINKING that he should make a Pinterest account and make some boards so he can physically see them. I didn’t think he would but low and behold he did and now follows me on Pinterest. I low key forgot that I had our (kinda mine💁🏾‍♀️) plans for our wedding day board on there. Whew when I tell you this man was quick to find it🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃. Anyways he knows too much now so he can’t leave me😂😂😂

So K has had me try Hawaiian food before and it was Poppin!! So last night it was his turn to try Cajun style food. We found a decent restaurant up the way from his place, and ordered gumbo and some fish baskets. And I had to make sure we had Boudin Balls as well. And he loved it although I would love for him to try it from the Louisiana-Mississippi area but until we take a trip this will do. Also this place had bomb cheesy grits!!!
