The serious (and sappy) answer is that he’s proud of how far he and Jokasta have come together. When his magic manifested, it seemed like the Maker himself was determined to keep them apart and even after Jokasta joined the Templars, the Order did everything it could to keep them separated in the Circle. Then came the mage uprising and the vote for independence that lead to the Mage-Templar War which tried to drive a wedge between them again. Looking at the state of things, the fact that they’re still together is really something.

The not-so-serious answer is that he is very proud of his extensive knowledge of sex techniques. ;)

☹ - something they regret

He regrets leaving all of his friends behind after the Ostwick Circle was dissolved. One of Jokasta’s Templar friends helped the twins get away right after the news came in so it was all very sudden. Once he’s Inquisitor, he asks Leliana to have her people look for them.

i heard ubisoft said some stuff about his wife but it was terrible and horrible and everyone hated it so i never looked it up bc if it's that bad i probably don't want to know so I can pretend it never happened :) :) :)

Because I’m a glutton for punishment--and because a part of me was hoping that Ubisoft doesn’t hate Connor that much--I did a little digging and it’s that bad.

However, it was pointed out that the record of his death, found in an Abstergo handbook, is by the Templars, so it’s (hopefully) just an attempt by the Templars to smear his good name. I’m really, really hoping that’s the case because Connor is such a sweetie and doesn’t deserve the shit he gets from Ubisoft.

8. What does your character look for in another person?  Max is pretty open to other people, He’s got that goofy charming personality that makes others flock to him. As for getting his approval, loyalty and dedication are huge - that with a little bit of kindness and good intentions goes a long way. 

12. A trait your character dislikes in other people? Ignorance, as a mage it’s something he puts up with a lot. He spends a lot of time making his rounds through the Inquisition in the hopes that he can educate people. He doesn’t mind those with open minds that provide at least interesting discourse, but those stubbornly stuck in their hatred of mages aren’t worth his time.

14. Something someone could say to hurt them? There are so many things, he plays the fool and laughs off a lot but that doesn’t mean things don’t hurt him. The worst things would have to do with his fear of abandonment or if someone told him he hadn’t actually managed to change things for the mages.
