obvious character but let's see anders

I’m shocked lmao. Also got a couple of these, but I’m only answering one per character/ship.

How I feel about this character:

Love. Unconditionally, at this point. Precious apostate needs to be protected and loved. Not that this should be a surprise to anyone lmao, but it’s true.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

Karl, Nathaniel, certain Wardens, Hawke (obviously, if they’re the right kind), Justice (my crack ship lmao), Dorian (whenever he’s in DA:I but unromanced. Seriously, why was NO ONE realized how perfect a pair they’d make? Everytime I read an Inquisitor!Anders fic and the ship is revealed I always end up screaming BUT DORIAN IS RIGHT THERE because seriously, it’s fucking perfect, SOMEONE PLEASE WRITE THIS).

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

Anders and Varric. Their friendship is important to me, and Bioware can pry it from my cold, dead hands.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

Anders was completely justified in his actions and was right about everything.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

Literally anything good. Like fuck, let the man have some goddamn happiness already. He deserves it. And just any actually objective look at him rather than constant villainization.

Anders isn’t just claustrophobic, but afraid of the dark as well. It brings back too many bad memories of another dark place, and he can never sleep in complete blackness. He always has a candle or fire going if he’s indoors, or it’s a moonless night. Even in the middle of the night, his clinic is always well lit for this reason.
