Holding Hands...Clint Barton
Please request!
You two were meant to be a one time thing,
But the next morning,
You were snuggled under his arm, kissing the underside as he smiled down at you,
You exchanged phone numbers and he waited for you to make the first move,
And you did, you played it save,
Coffee,
That was amazing,
Avengers discount,
The two of you arranging your second date right then,
Second date came,
Arcade,
It started with bowling,
He won, (surprise, surprise)
Then retro video games,
He struggled with Pac-Man,
You however, you were ready,
Being an antisocial child had its benefits in adulthood,
You wrecked him,
Then claw machines,
Again, Clint was amazing.
Lastly a darts game,
Do I even need to say Clint was good that this stage?
You had the biggest, fluffiest, pink dog you’d ever seen,
That was tucked under your left arm, and your right arms hanging down by your side.
And you felt it, a small warmth brush past,
Then again,
Until is finally spread over your palm,
He had taken your hand and was holding it happily,
He was grinning.
You were grinning,
And your fingers laced in, and a gentle squeeze told him you were happy.
