Adore your writing, love! Could write something for moi? Love Laura Barton and Hawkeye is my favorite Avenger. Could do a Clint x R x Laura scene that happens at the farmhouse of AoU where R is the youngest Avenger (~18) w/ no family, they see her as a daughter. Scene of Laura interacting w/ her, mothering her in ways; Clint enjoying the relationship. Laura could calm R’s fears about battle. Could it end w/ Laura saying, “Please bring our oldest kiddo home safe” and Clint tells her, “Yes, ma’am”

You had lost your parents when you were younger, leaving you to jump from foster home to foster home. That was until your powers showed up, it happened around the time you hit puberty. No one wanted to foster you and it made you angry, so, out of anger, you lashed out, grabbing the attention from SHIELD. You became an Avenger and the Avengers thought of you as their own. Especially one specifically. Clint.
You were currently in his house, it’s where you spent most of your time. He would usually bring you with him after missions, while the others lived in the compound, you practically lived with Clint and his family. “Hon, do you mind helping me with the dishes?” Laura asked as she gently scrubbed a plate with a sponge.
“Sure!” You perked up and walked over, grabbing a dry rag. You began drying the clean plates and placing them in their rightful places in the shelves.
“So, whatever happened to that one boy?”
You raised your eyebrows, “what boy?”
“You know, that one boy from class you wouldn’t stop chattering about,” she said with a smirk.
“I barely even go to class as it is, Laura, so, there hasn’t been much going on with that boy,” you said as you let out a small sigh.
“Well, that’s going to change,” she whispered, “I know, everyone needs you but you’re still a teen, you need a normal teenage life.” You stayed silent, although, you loved joining the team on missions. You sure did miss out a lot in all the normal teenage things.
You shook my head, “but my powers wha-”
“Nope,” she interrupted, “no what-ifs, I know you well enough to know that you can control your powers, Y/N.” You thought of Laura as a mother figure, there were even times where you had to stop your tongue from rolling out the word ‘mom’ when speaking to her. “I’ve thought about it and spoke to Clint, now your high school isn’t in the district but it isn’t far, we’d both would be able to arrange something, maybe even speak to Tony. He seems to think highly of you, I’m sure he’d be more than happy to provide a driver for you if Clint and I aren’t available. Otherwise, Clint and I don’t think it would be too much for us to drive you to school every day.”
“Wait, are… are you guys thinking of me staying here permanently?”
She chuckled, “I’ve said too much, haven’t I?” She rinsed her hands and then turned off the faucet, turning to you in the process, “we wanted to tell you together,” she said softly.
“Tell me what?”
“That we want to adopt you,” Clint said as he walked further into the kitchen, he had been standing at the doorway watching the interaction.
“What?” you asked in disbelief, “Adopt me? Why?”
“Oh, honey,” Laura said softly, “because we think of you as our own. It tears me-us apart whenever you have to go back to the compound. Hell, Lila cries whenever you do.”
“I-I don’t know what to say.”
“You don’t have to say anything, kiddo,” Clint said with a smile, “just let us know that you want to be a part of this family, officially.”
You grinned from ear to ear, tears forming in your eyes, “yes!” you hugged Laura and Clint, “A million times yes!”
~
That was six months ago, the adoption process was slow but you guys had connections, well, you had Tony Stark on speed dial is what you meant.
“How long will you guys be gone for?” Laura asked Clint as he packed up his equipment.
“A couple of days,” he glanced over at you, as you sat on the couch, putting your combat boots on. “She seem okay to you?” He whispered to Laura.
Laura sighed, no, you didn’t seem okay to her, “I’ll talk to her.”
The small hum of the quinjet alerted you, you quickly stood up, “ready?” Clint asked as he gave you reassuring smile. You gave him a nod and followed him out, but Laura stopped you before you could get off the porch.
“Hey,” she said softly as she grabbed onto your arm, “I just wanted you to know that you’re gonna do great,” she fixed your tactical suit, making sure it was secure.
You glanced over to the team that was waiting by the quinjet, “they’re all depending on me,” you said softly as you looked back over at Laura, “what if I-”
“No,” she said interrupting you, “no, what-if’s, that’s the thing that’s going to get you hurt. You got this, Y/N, I believe in you. You just have to believe in yourself.”
You sighed, you knew she was right, “thanks, mom,” Laura smiled at the sound of you calling her mom.
“I love you, hon.” She kissed the top of her head, “Now go show those villains whose boss.” You chuckled and walked over to where the team was.
Clint walked over to Laura, placing a small kiss on her lips, “we’ll be back before you know it.”
She smiled, “I love you.”
“I love you too,” Clint smiled at his wife one more time before walking away.
“Hey!” she said loud enough for him to hear, Clint stopped and turned around, “please bring our oldest kiddo home safe.”
Clint smiled, giving her a small salute, “yes ma’am,” he said before walking in the quinjet.
