if you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? the more precide the answer the better!

that is hard, because there are still so many places that i think i would love but i never visited any of them yet. i think if i could just pack up and leave without having to worry about anything i’d pick iceland. i loved that country so much when i visited a few years back and the nature and landscapes are just breathtaking. i don’t like warm places very much and i still want to be close to the ocean. nothing relaxes me more than sitting on a quiet beach somewhere pretty much by myself. you can drive there for hours and see not a single person. you have beautiful lakes and wide spaces, but also mountains and when you are lucky there is still snow somewhere. it’s the perfect place for a dog as well and goddamn i’d love to own a furry friend one day. depending on my mood i need the vibe and speed of a big city as well though. i love to just wander around and get lost in it, sitting somewhere just watching people pass by and absorb the loud noises. i love the feeling a city gives me during night time. some streets are still superbusy when you stroll around and then you pass quieter alleys on the side. i love the cliche image of a rainy night, light fog in the streets, the water in the potholes reflecting the lights of a street lamp or some half broken neon light on the facade of a building. i’d love to visit nyc one time to find out if it’s anything close to what i imagine it would be (or tokyo as well). if one of these does the trick i’d love to own a place in iceland and in one of these cities and i think that would be exactly what i need.
