☕ iron sights are pointless on a modern rifle

i don’t agree. i have nothing against optics. i encourage the use of optics. and 9 times out of 10 i’d probably prefer optics to iron sights. but i don’t think iron sights are totally obsolete. people should know how to shoot with iron sights. optics can fail or be damaged. it’s good to have iron sights to fall back on in those situations. it’s better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them.

Any advice for lowering blood pressure?

Another Doom movie? Will it be as good as the first one?

There will be only one way to find out and that will come around this Fall.

Whether the budget of the film plays a big part on it succeeding or not, that'll be another story. But I'll say this:

If people really, really want a DOOM movie with a superhero movie kind of budget ($200-300M), they must go out of their way to support and watch DOOM: Annihilation.

It is the only way they could show Universal Studios and Hollywood in general that there is an actual interest for a big budget DOOM film that respects the source material.

A sub-division of Universal Studios focused on home releases is doing this new DOOM movie, but it appears that they have showed interest for this movie to succeed, and the director feels the same way.

The only missing effort is the one from the fans of DOOM that seem to want a movie to rival the Avengers franchise in theaters. And, well, I already told you all what you need to do.
