You'd begun to lose track of time. Nothing made sense anymore, even though you knew why. With the timeline changed, the story you knew was now irrelevant. If anything, the very moment you met Midoriya, the storyline had changed. No, the very moment you entered this world, it changed.
Midoriya hadn't said a word about you to anyone, hadn't given away any information. Nor had Inko. It was like both of them were wishing you'd come back. After all, for Midoriya you were like his older sibling. You were like a kid to Inko. Your subordinates had helped train him. Deep down, you wished that Midoriya would just admit to what he knew about you. Selfishly, it would hurt your heart less if he did.
You wiped your bloody mouth with your sleeve as you stumbled back into your office. You'd taken on a mission by yourself to wipe out a gang of villains. As if on cue, Toga popped her head in as you collapsed into your chair. "Whoa, bloody boss." She chided, immediately going over to your side. Twice followed soon after, attached to her. "I swear boss you really should take it easy, you're beginning to wear yourself out." Twice said, concern in his voice before he then added, aggressively, "If not, we'll break your legs!" Toga nodded in agreement, getting a medical supply bag from a drawer.
"I suppose someone thought a solo job was smart?" A gruff voice asked, and Dabi walked in. You couldn't help but roll your eyes. He smirked at the reaction. "It wasn't that big of a deal, so I handled it on my own." Dabi raised an eyebrow, his eyes flickering over to the wounds Toga was bandaging up. "Those look like they'll need stitches. Those bandages are temporary." You grumbled, acknowledging the fact. You'd have to visit the doctor that the Crow Group had. Suddenly, you felt a pinch, and everything felt blurry for a moment.
Toga held up a vial of your blood. "Jackpot! Now I can do those meetings so that you won't have to." "....That sounds like a horrible idea." You muttered, feeling your arms as Toga finished. Twice laughed and said, "No matter, I'll just send a clone of you." You couldn't really argue with that..
You needed to start relying on others more anyway. Needed to take a break for once.
......
A few months passed. The Crow Group and the League of Villains had started to definitely bump heads. The heroes have been buzzing about, trying to keep news from getting out of hand, especially with All Might stepping down. It was because of Bakugou Katsuki being kidnapped by the league. An incident that you couldn't ignore. You had hoped that maybe this time, you could help the symbol of peace. The Crow Group had reached out to the heroes to help in the rescue. But in the end, All Might still stepped down, with Endeavor taking the top spot.
Many of the heroes had brushed off the Crow Group's involvement as a common enemy. But some had their suspensions. One of them, is a certain red-winged hero. You never thought that Hawks would be the one who'd be spying around the Crow Group when he knocked on your door, claiming that he wished to 'join'. Yet again, another surprise.
