19. Long distance Skype date
Miles had been patient with Eddie, first showing him how to install skype on his laptop, knowing that Eddie doesn’t like going a long time without seeing his husband’s face, even if it was through the horrible chrome book laptop that Miles bought for as cheap as he could knowing that the other barely knew how to deal with electronics, and obviously wouldn’t want to unless it was because of him.
"Darling? Is- is this thing on? I can’t tell." Eddie tapped the shitty integrated webcam multiple times until Miles’ face appeared on the screen and his laughter rang loudly.
"Babe, Eddie, you’re good. It’s on, stop hitting the camera." The younger man smiled when he saw the other, it had been a couple weeks since he last saw him, and even though Gluskin abhorred facial hair on the reporter, he couldn’t have been more happy to see him. "I’ll be back for our anniversary, I’ll make it up to you when I get home…"
"I truly can’t wait." Eddie reached back for the dress he had been working on, face lighting up when the other showed interest, "I hope… you haven’t put on any weight, I used the measurements from your last dress and the corset… darling, you’ll look beautiful."
"all i'm say'n is, if we order from that chinese take out place again we're gonna have to add them to the christmas card list."
