Our second featured venue (previously) is Stern Design Works, an NYC-based company that makes creative & custom jewelry including necklaces, earrings, pins, cuff links, and rings!

From their website:

Each piece is inspired by the STEAM initiative (Science, Technology Engineering, Art, Math) and bridges past to present by artfully combining 3D Printing with lost material casting and other traditional techniques.

We love them for their space travel themed pieces, but the entire Collected Histories are of potential interest for us startorialists, including pieces inspired by science, spacecraft, sci-fi, animals, extinct animals, fantasy animals, and cheese. Yes,cheese!

I picked out just a few of my favorites for the photos:

Today is a great day! On @smkane824 and I's big spring break trip to #nyc we had the most amazing time! We stayed in #timessquare and down the street from the @nytimes! We ate at @carminesnyc and saw my first Broadway show, @avenueqmusical. We ate a big Italian cheesecake from Carmine's after the show and laughed until we went to bed. The next day we went to the @amnh and the #HaydenPlanetarium where I saw a movie narrated by @neildegrassetyson, which was awesome! We went to #centralpark and ate some awesome New York pizza. Then we ate at @clocktowernyc, which is an awesome British themed Michelin starred restaurant and Sami was so excited. We had the best free bread - a fresh sourdough bread roll with a buttermilk spread that was to die for - and I had an incredibly tender venison tenderloin. We then got an amazing Earl Grey Souffle made as we ordered it with a congac sauce. All in all, it was my first solo trip like this without my parents and without my family, but instead with someone I love deeply and passionately.
