the idea that din was raised in a sort of extremist sect among mandalorians is actually really interesting and is certainly a great workaround for why basically every other canon mandalorian does take their helmet off but i just know we won’t see din work through that and try to decide what it means to him to be a mandalorian because that’s too introspective for this show tbh!!!
bo katan is like “oh you’re part of the children of the watch, those religious zealots, damn most mandalorians don’t do that shit” and we just moved the fuck on from that like it’s not a huge wrench in the worldview of our show’s central character?????????? HELLO?????
