The Spring had returned to Yavie’s steps, he led the way by walking on his hands through the catacombs, one in front of the other as he urged Hayliel to keep up. The fallen wished to see all that he’d been working on and the fairy didn’t think that there needed to be secrets between them. Yavie loved him in every way that a heart could love another, at night when he wasn’t dreaming of flaying the skin off a screaming mortal’s bones - or burning the sinew off of someone’s tissue, he was with Hayliel. Sometimes they were here and sometimes they were there but in all versions of Yavie’s vast imagination the two of them were together. He’d made a great deal of friends as of late, Levent and Severon, an exiled blood fey and a drow of the new court. They were useful, both of them. Helpful. 

Hellhounds growled in the corner and Yavie lifted a hand from the ground to press it to his lips with a prominent “Shush, that’s enough - he’s friend shaped.” The fey said, his scarred hand went back to the earth, the palm mangled from his recent excursions into blood practices. Levent was right to show him how to better subjugate the mind, these infernal creatures were immensely useful. Cute too. When the ruined corridor opened into the antechamber of a ruined estate from Etruscan times, Yavie somersaulted onto his feet before he extended both hands and went, “Ta-Da!” There were various projects in the works, in tanks he’d repurposed there were creatures in various states of life and death, half-assembled animatronics, portions of weapons he’d taken apart and put back together again. None of it contained what he was looking for, but Yavie would keep searching. “I started putting it back together,” Yavie said as he brought the other to the ruined shell of the bomb they’d unearthed, “so many pieces though, it’s missing a lot so I’m going to have to replace them with my own. The material- I’m still not sure what Theneras made it out of. I haven’t been able to find his journals anywhere.”

Hayliel might have run away from home, but that did not make Ganymede love his son any less. In fact, it was time for Hayliel to come home and rejoin the family. Hayliel had always been his favourite and it wasn't just because of all the homosexual relationships that he'd had over the years. Truly Ganymede was proud. Approaching the other in the midst of the crowded park, Gany wore a pair of Mickey Mouse ears and held up two options, "Do you want to wear Minnie, or Mickey?" Ganymede smiled, "Your dad told me you liked luxury things and he wasn't wrong, you look great, are those the new Gucci slides? You're wearing sunscreen right?"

When Echion had first woken up the spartoi had tried to get a loaf of bread by exchanging a few bone tools that he’d made from his fingertips. Hadn’t gone over well. Isabella said that the currency these days was less about goods and service and more focused on monetary means - not gold or silver like Echion would have suspected, but useless coins and paper. Scraps of something called plastic that had unseen sums. “You were taller last time,” Echion greeted as he leaned against the other’s bar, there was probably something hanging so low it was hitting Hayliel’s knees, Priapus used to have nothing on the vessels that the fallen chose. “feet still look big though.” Hayliel wasn’t a warrior, not like he used to be anyways, but he wasn’t without his uses, he always chose corpses of significant position. “It’s good to see you, Hayliel.”

@hayliel​ location: the STREETS (shopping district) notes: I want fabulous, that is my simple request It had been months since Ezekiel had spent this much money, after he’d been cut off from the Amaranthus bank accounts he’d needed to make some adjustments to his lifestyle. That had changed now though, his job paid him buckets of cash (Zeke’s request), and that rich old man that he’d enthralled had kicked it recently. Something about heart failure. They’d started at Emporio Armani on Babuino, crossed to the Hugo Boss store on Frattina, hit up Gucci, Prada, and now they were in Moschino. Several bags in each hand and a fresh pair of Gucci sunglasses on his face with several more in one of his many bags. Ezekiel set his bags down as he looked at one of the mannequins, ready to strip it right there, “I’m obsessed with this jacket.” Cropped, dark denim with gold hardware and a matching pair of jeans.

Within the palace the atmosphere was perfect for Hayliel's mortal vessel, outside the grounds his head would explode in an instant, but that was space for you. One way or another the world below was ending, anyone with intuition could see that, but for Yavie's own satisfaction, and because of the promise he'd made Hayliel, the astral elf had some business to attend to first. Somniar had to be dealt with, as cool as his worms were it was really gross that he was putting them in people's heads and then just leaving them there. Uriel had torn out Hayliel's wings, so that prick needed to go as well. Azrael was a menace that Hayliel also didn't like, so that was just one more on the elf's hit list. Finally there was Lamia, she was pretty cool and realistically the only one that Yavie would have deemed worth fighting, a rematch was in order. To the death.

"Do you have everything you need?" Yavie asked as he made sure Hayliel was all set with the interdimensional satellite dish that the elf had put together for him. It had every tv channel and every program from every variation of reality across the many realms and alternate timelines. There was even one where someone had made a soap opera out of their relationship, starring the two of them. It played on the TV now as tv!Yavie revealed to tv!Hayliel that his long lost twin had really been alive this whole time, Ravie. "I'll only be gone a few hours, I just need to settle some scores and then I'll be back in no time."

Slipped through the astral, Yavie lingered over his friend’s body as he watched his friend’s lifeless, and still frame. Even here the King looked beautiful in a way, like he’d been carved for death or was the product of some great instruction. Their last words were distasteful, but neither had ever wished ill upon each other. Yavie was headed in one direction and Meryasek in another, so many years divided that moment from where Yavie stood now that it felt trivial. Childish. Yavie tipped his head towards Mery’s forehead and pressed his lips against it as he whispered a prayer against his friend’s dead ear. The King’s guards returned, but Yavie was already gone.

Above the city everyone looked kind of, gross? Very sick, at any rate, it was off putting and neat all at once. There was a man literally shitting in the street, some woman lost her lunch right on the sidewalk. Plague had come to the city but that wasn’t really surprising, considering the reputation that followed the seraphim it was more shocking that it hadn’t happened sooner. At least, Yavie assumed it was one of Hayliel’s more annoying siblings that had done it. That reminded him, they all needed to die.

“Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do,” Yavie sang as he slipped into their old home but found that Hayliel wasn’t there, it had been a very, very long time for the former fey but he was pretty sure it had only been a few weeks for Hayliel. If the fallen had moved on then there was going to be trouble. “I'm half crazy all for the love of you,” he followed his own song as he blinked in front of Hayliel, face bright as he wrapped his arms around him and turned in the air, squeezing as hard as he could. “It won’t be a stylish marriage, I can’t afford a carriage, but you’ll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two.” Yavie kissed the other square on the lips as they turned more slowly through the air now.

The two had fucked in just about every room of the vatican at this point, the wedding was like any other wedding, really boring. Yavie was nearby in case Farenduil needed him but he was only here to dance and make kissie faces with Hayliel. They were on the up right now, which meant Yavie couldn’t get enough of him: one wrong word though and it was over and they’d break up all over again. Like last week when Hayliel said he didn’t get the hype around Harry Styles. Unforgivable. They were going to his next concert now though so all was forgiven. “I have something really important I want to ask you.” Daddy. Yavie said as he got down on one knee and took the fallen’s hand into his own, softly pressing his lips to it as he did. “When this is done, would you...” He brought Hayliel’s hand to his cheek and held it there as he looked up at Hayliel with full, brown eyes. “like to go back to the hotel and play mermaids with me in the pool?”

"So many children lately." Yavie liked kids, they were like a clean slate: all wide eyes and imagination. They seemed like a lot of work though and long before the astral and the fallen ever considered having children together, Hayliel was going to need to work on his infidelity. "If only my partner didn't hang around with so many loose people." Yavie looked around the bar, nice as it was, the elve could tell there was a lot of people here that would gladly try and steal his man if he gave them the opportunity. He'd blow up this whole place before he let that happen. "It's fine, but I was hoping we could give Zahrya a baby for his birthday this year. Maybe next, I think he'll have his hands full as it is."
