I am stressing out about The Code finale tonight for like 47 reasons. I am stressed about the story itself - what is going to happen with Abe and what are we going to discover? I am stressed that they’re not going to resolve the whole Alex thing. Or worse - they’ll resolve it in a way I don’t like. I am super worried that cancellation news is going to come out after the finale (assuming tomorrow, later this week, or next, aka they are just waiting for the finale to air). I am distressed at the idea of it ending on a cliffhanger, then a cancellation, thus no resolution at all. I am stressing because the cast members I follow on IG have been posting all day about it, which is upping my stress of the previous points. And then at least two of them have been talking about the show in vague past tense, “Memories,” “I’ll always love these people,” and “We made a good thing.” Which makes me think they know already that it’s not coming back. Uggggghhhhhh. This is the first time I’ve got that feeling of dread for an episode, instead of only anticipation and excitement. I haven’t missed this feeling. ((side eyes AoS and Arrow))
