Practical Magic AU- To protect herself from heartbreak, Hazel casts a true love spell for someone she doesn’t believe will exist...
I’ve had this idea for awhile now and thought it’d be fun to draw. sorry the backgrounds are kinda lazy lol.

Apprentice Week Day 5 & 6
@thearcanaweek two in one!
Family
Hazel grew up in a neighboring village with her parents and older sister. Her father was gone most of the time, working in a larger city and sending the money home. Her sister lived with them until Hazel was around 14, when she left on a pilgrimage and later returned with a husband. This put Hazel under the full scrutiny of her mother, whose relationship was... strained at best. It took several years for her to understand that some of what she went through was abuse. Things finally improved when she was invited to stay with her paternal aunt in Vesuvia, who recognized and encouraged her potential for magic.
