A Happy Reunion ⇄ Hazel & Erin;
When Erin had gotten in touch with Hazel, she couldn't express how happy she had been. It was because of the girl that Erin was able to graduate in the first place. If it hadn't been for her tutoring, then Erin wouldn't have had her diploma, so she owed the girl her life. While many assumed it wouldn't have been a big deal, it meant a lot for Erin, especially since the other girl showed her nothing but patience and kindness. It was great to see that somethings just never changed. Hazel was just as kind and just as sweet as she had remembered her, so when she invited her over, Erin couldn't refuse. Plus, it would be nice to just catch up and maybe even plan more out for the film festival that was being held this week.
Once Hazel had sent her a text with her address, Erin grabbed her phone before leaving her house. With her mom and step-dad at work, she wasn't as tense as she normally would have been if they were home, but that didn't stop her from the reckless driving on her way towards Hazel's home. It wasn't a long drive and once Erin found a parking spot outside of her house, Erin turned off the ignition before getting out of her car. The cold winter winds weren't anything new for her, but due to the shower she had taken before leaving the house, it felt as if she was wearing nothing. Pulling her jacket closer together, Erin quickly walked up the steps until she reached the front door and gave it a knock.
Taking a step back, Erin waited patiently as she pulled her hood up, and Erin wasn't going to be surprised if she ended up getting sick tonight. Alright, taking a shower before leaving the house in this weather was a stupid thing to do--but when did Erin ever learn? In case Hazel wasn't aware that she was here, Erin pulled her phone out and with cold fingers, quickly composed a new text to Hazel, letting her know that she was here.
