Ombra destroys anything you believe in from the roots.
She'll do anything to accomplish that.
She enjoys seeing you having existential crisis while desperately looking for a bit of light in the miserable life she forced on you.
Because everybody must know the dark truth she knows.
Ombra really tries to be open to expressing her real emotions, so to be that wise, mature adult she has to be. But in the end, she still sees emotions as weak spots, remaining the tough, hard headed, thick skinned and "too logical" friend.
Their relationship with Quan Chi helped Ombra to recognize their female energy, and that they're allowed to feel soft and weak.
That's the same for him. A soft spot and subtle kindness is created in his heart which only belongs to Ombra. He learned how it feels to have someone so truly precious to him in his life.
The amount of research I have to do for this very first chapter is freaking me out.

She has all of Ombra's facial characteristics: Square face, thin lips, down-turned eyes with thick lashes and thick eyebrows which are also close to the eyes.
Should I opt her as Ombra's face claim? It's a hard decision...
