yeah! it was really really cold, so we started a fire, watched the steelers game and had chips and salsa! it was really relaxing and just a lazy sunday :)

hahahahaha oh my god no. i thought i was a straight cis male 2 years ago, and yeah we all know how wrong i was with that lol. also i had only just discovered tumblr and hadn’t made all the amazing friendships i have now because of it, so yeah. wow just 2 years ago was sooo different!

ok so im a little late BUT i saw the discussion on tris being ace and i had to join in because as an ace person i would have LOVED if tris was ace/demi in canon. i didnt know what asexuality was when i first read the books so it wouldve been amazing for me to learn about earlier on. of course her fear of intimacy doesnt mean she IS ace, but to me she has always only been romantically attracted to tobias and not sexually (until allegiant?). thats why it made me especially mad that she had sex in

(p2) the insurgent movie because you cant rid yourself of a fear like that so fast, even if you love someone. i just root so hard for ace representation esp in young adult things and it makes me sorta mad when people always put down theories of people being ace like LET US HAVE THIS ONE THING PLEASE EVEN IF IT ISNT REAL. ahem sorry. im passionate about this. i could go on but i think i should stop here.

my friend is ace and she said the exact same thing when I asked her! I felt the same way when I was thinking about it! I don’t really remember tris actually acting sexually towards tobias until allegiant. I was just mad about the sex scene in insurgent because it WAS in insurgent (and not in allegiant or now ascendent i guess idk) but now I agree with you that it was too soon because it was unrealistic. i try to stay neutral when I’m talking about tender subjects such as sexuality (basically bc i’m pretty sure i’m cis-het and people will always call me out on something i’m not educated on) and yeah I kinda thought it would be a cool idea for tris to just be ace because I feel like her background in abnegation (being taught to not be self-serving) and her fear of intimacy on top of that would’ve made an awesome reason for her being ace…

hey lucia! i took chemistry last year and heres what i can think of to say: chem is mostly memorizing elements and names, remembering little rules you are taught (like significant figures oh man those are important DO NOT FORGET SIG FIGS), and a lot of applied math. make sure you pay attention to the formulas, always ask for help or demonstrations if youre really struggling. if you like physics then chem might be hard but if you struggle with physics you might do well in chem (this was my case)

OHHH MY GODD I SUCKED AT PHYSICS JULIA HOLYYYYY. (I actually didn’t suck too bad, but the concepts didn’t come easily at all, and that was new to me.) Anyway, yeah I figured it was as such. It seems really interesting and fun!
