Phone Message from Gregg Haulk, Superintendent of HBCSD
Good evening this is Gregg Haulk, Superintendent of Huntington Beach City School District. I just wanted to call and thank you for a tremendous start to the school year. All of the cabinet members had a chance to visit all of the schools where they saw that campus’ were full of energy and enthusiasm. What a great start to the school year. I was calling to remind you and encourage you to become members of HBEF, the Huntington Beach Educational Foundation. The Huntington Beach Educational Foundation gave the teachers grants last year valued over $40,000 dollars. Ways you can help support this are to please become a member of HBEF and to attend an event. Our first event is September 17th from 12 to 2 p.m. at The Habit Burger Grill on Talbert and Beach. All proceeds of the sneak preview menu will be given to the HBEF. Students will be in school during this time, but what a great chance for parents to have to preview of the new menu and to help out the students and teachers of Huntington Beach. Thank you for a great start to the school year! -Gregg Haulk Summerized from phone message
