The underground world of the mafia and its ties has always been a dangerous place, especially when one is involved with the criminal element of the underground. What makes it more dangerous is the sense that change is on the horizon and drawing nearer very quickly.
Kim Hongjoong is the second son of Kim Wonsik, current head of the powerful Kim crime family. With an array of other powerful families as subordinates, the Kim family is preparing to crown Hongjoong as the next head of family with his brother Bumjoong as the face to the general public. Many years of growing and learning in the mafia’s world has brought him his own inner circle of ‘lieutenants’ - a select group to act as council and enforcers - men he’s grown up with.
Seonghwa of the Park family known for their influence in fashion is his right hand. Yunho and his younger brother Wooyoung from the Jungs [whose family owns tech guru company JungTech] are the strategist and one of the hackers respectively. Song Mingi comes from a long line of weapons dealers and Kang Yeosang hails from the best of the cleaner families while also being second to none in terms of hacking. And then there are the Choi brothers - San and Jongho - whose family provides influence in hotels and is beginning to dabble into the world of performing arts with the acquisition of the House of Ice; a world renowned opera and ballet house owned by Kassia Dimitrescu and her daughter Natalia.
While ruthless in conflict and often brushed off by their own parents, the boys know when mercy should be shown. But mercy is not a free flowing service among the dark and messy world of the mafia families. Especially as the new princes prepare to claim their power.
