When I was a kid, I remember saving for an American Girl doll using this puzzle that they sent you to help track your savings towards your purchase. Each time you hit a saving marker, you would add a piece to the puzzle. By the time you finished the puzzle, that meant you had reached your saving goal. I loved the idea of that because it made the goal more tangible. Now, there's a grown-up version of that with @JoinReel. Just connect your bank account and they will automatically put a portion away for you every day or week (based on what you choose) until you've reached your saving goal for the item you want.
