The Vadas
The Vadas are Zuleika’s elite force, also known as the Wild Children. They are her most trusted and skilled operatives, and receive their orders directly from Zuleika and Nelle. The operatives are a very diverse assortment of people, and not all of them play well together.
Some members of the Vadas are:
Lenoday- Former Dreamweaver Hunter, turned traitor, now hunts them. Known by other hunters as Apex. He thinks this is pretentious. Does not play well with the other, partially because they don’t trust a former Hunter.
Xavier Upton- The eldest son of King Tatius Upton, and one of the last gifted survivors of his people. His father traded his and his brother’s survival for the Dreamweaver Qian, something Xavier has always been ashamed of. After escaping with Pan, Xavier found his way to Zuleika’s resistance, and has joined it, using his power to influence people through music to gather information.
Pan Upton- Xavier’s younger brother, Pan was a baby when their people were killed. He’s learned everything he has about their people from his brother. He’s still coming to terms with their freedom, but makes a good team with his brother, and with their friend Heilyn.
Hadi- Hadi is another last member of the gifted of his race, able to create illusions with his voice. He escaped with Pan and Xaviar, and ended up finding the resistance with them.
Lucasta- Zuleika’s Guardian, and the commander of the Vadas. She seems like a big cheerful puppy, but she is also one of the most powerful Guardians to have existed.
Lunabelle- Only sort of a member of the Vadas, Lunabelle occasionally helps out as a favor to Lucasta.
Weseni- The Dream Lord is occasionally sent out, mostly on missions that might have a lead on finding his brother, but usually he’s the main guard to make sure that their enemies never find the resistance.
