Blue Topaz ---- The gem of Clarity and Strength

Topaz is a symbol of love and affection, and has been said to be an aid to ones sweetness and disposition. Topaz was once was considered one of five elemental substances that would bring protection to the deities. The figure of a falcon engraved upon a topaz would bring the wearer goodwill and kindness of the powers that be. Topaz in particular has been said to work with ones creative energies. topaz is also excellent for promoting concentration. Topaz is particularly good for artists. It gives one access to their artistic creativity, and increases one’s appreciation of beauty. It is said to give a person the capacity to see both the larger picture and the minute detail, recognizing how they interrelate.

Narcissus

There are several Narcissus species that bloom specifically in the winter. For the ancient Greeks, the Narcissus spelled egoism, vanity and conceit. Greek mythology tells us of a Grecian youth, Narkissos, who was so in love with his reflection in a pond that he drowned in it. Immediately, a Narcissus flower sprang up in that spot. During the Victorian era, the secret message conveyed by the Narcissus was "You’re the only one". Today, the Narcissus symbolizes sweetness, respect, modesty and faithfulness. It suggests the idea that you want your beloved to stay exactly the way they are and to never change.

Capricorn

Capricorns are known to be loyal, resourceful, responsible, patient, willful, practical and ambitious people. You are so ambitious, you always have something you are pursuing and you do so without haste. You are extremely patient and will wait however long is necessary to get what you want. Along with your ambition comes the wise trait of being cautious. You are also quite philosophical and intelligent and tend to take on other people's problems with selflessness. You are ok with change but introduce it slowly so you can get used to it and incorporate it into your life with ease.

i think this was the hc meme. / anon.-

she was exhausted. practicing her summoning took so much out of her - but as the days went on, it seemed like less and less. she was getting stronger, yes, but it was only delaying the depletion of her energy. she sits at her desk, lithe fingers wrapped around a porcelain cup, warmth of its contents keeping her feeling a bit of comfort.

glacial hues glance up at a few folders, a few books. she reaches for a scrapbook, lowering it on her desk and looking over its contents.

flower petals. different shapes, colors, textures. there were so many different types of flowers in her mother’s garden, she loved so much to collect them and show them to mother. in fact, her mother inspired her to save her favorites. from all over atlas she has saved different flowers, and while her father thought it to be a waste of time and childish, weiss was glad klein was able to keep this safe for her.

there was an empty page, near the front. petals once belonged there, more than likely, but now it was barren. she thinks for a moment, fingers tapping against the plastic of the page’s protecting screen, before moving back and forth between pages.

only minutes pass, before she sits upright with an accomplished smile. fingers graze over each petal that now adorned this page - red rose petal, white lily, purple verbena, and yellow sunflower.

What's Weiss' first memory?

she couldn’t have been older than three. maybe four. she was in her mother’s garden. it was a warm day, for atlas. mother was sitting beneath the terrace. she was looking wistfully towards the mansion, until weiss approaches. mama, mama. sing to me again. expression suddenly changes, graceful, warm, loving smile towards her youngest daughter. she reaches down, places the toddler on her knee and begins singing. she has such a beautiful voice.  she’s the reason weiss wanted to sing, too. 

come inside. now!

mother stops singing. she looks towards the mansion. calls for klein, who takes the toddler. mother will be right back, she tells weiss. weiss smiles. she nods, reaching up for klein as he takes her. she thinks she hears father. he’s speaking loudly again. she wonders if he’s upset again. he seems to be upset a lot. but klein is here. klein makes her laugh, a lot.
