One shoulder offers a meager shrug whilst arms fold over her torso and Robyn can offer a paltry smile in return. A purple tinted gaze sweeps the grand attraction that is the Schnee manor though there is no glee or excitement found; only bitter contempt and the overwhelming suffocation of people and CORRUPT politicians.

Where this young Schnee sought to guard her emotions close to her heart, Robyn’s own ran tumultuous over her features with no reserve. This woman found no hesitation in wearing them upon her cuff and screaming them to the broken moon above–

“Yeah, I didn’t expect to be high on the invite list either, snowdrop.” She snorts, teeth bore in an unpleasantly twisted grin. “I’d say we could break a window and make an escape but for once, I’m pleased to  be here.” 

Finally, answers.

“Just don’t mistake that for glee at having to tolerate your old man because I’m sure there are pointed rocks i’d rather be eatin’ than listening to him.”

part of her felt like she should say something, but nothing could come to mind. after all - after all she’s been through, after all that had happened to her between these walls and in these grand halls, what could she possibly say? there was no defense. none was deserved.

“that makes two of us,” words are muttered underneath her breath, arms finally falling at her sides as she allows herself to get a little more comfortable. “no one’s given you any trouble, i hope? at least, nothing more than the occasional scowl or sneer? i’m sure some of my father’s associates are being petty, as usual.”

          “one of ironwood’s beloved machines, princess. or at least, it was one of ‘em, poor thing got broken &. tossed aside. his name’s bob.”

“... oh.” blinks twice, icy hues looking towards the machine. she clears her throat, and gives it a nod. “hello... bob.” attention back to the woman, head canting just a bit in curiosity. “... where did you find him?”

The Huntresses head shifted leftwards towards the smaller Schnee and whether the words were aimed at her or not, empathy was to be had and pity gained. Robyn Hill knew enough of Weiss’ father to know his type and in that came a good guess at how unpleasant this place probably was–

“You gonna be okay, Weiss?” Nicknames hardly felt appropriate given the situation and even Robyn could feel the hard gravity weighing on her shoulders. The sooner this little talk was over, the happier everyone was going to be.

guarded, was the best way she could describe herself, right now. she didn’t know much about robyn - she knew enough from her sister, from information on rallies. she liked robyn - she seemed to care about atlas, about mantle.

more importantly, she opposed her father. 

false smile on display, she nods her head. “nothing i haven’t faced before,” she assures the woman, finally moving to look fully at her. “i’m a little surprised to see you here, ms. hill. no offense, but i doubt you want to be here any more than i do.”
