There was a certain clinginess about Daphne following the veil’s little hiccup that she couldn’t fully kick, never really being the type of girl that attached herself quickly to others and usually found herself being more distant. Yet another one of the genasi traits, it seemed, preferring the company of themselves over others. But she almost needed other genasi in her life to learn from, especially from those she noticed were more experienced or like-minded. That’s why there was a pull towards Pandora’s Lore when it first opened and Daphne started frequenting, her collection of books growing with each visit. They shared similar qualities of thinking and could relate when it came to approaches in action. She held onto that same gravitational pull towards Hudson now. Annoyingly unwavering when it came to asking about what all he knew, what all he could teach and share with her. On top of the curious itch she needed to scratch for his new found power— a spirit genasi. With her viewpoint still fairly limited, only having been a genasi for mere months, Daphne wanted nothing more than to soak up all the information she could get her hands on. “Do you mind if I sit?” just one out of the million other questions she had bullet pointed in her mind that she planned to spout his direction, less pep in her walk than usual as she flashed a reverent grin.
