alexandria  is  their new  home,  and  with  that  should  come  a  sense  of  peace, but  instead  the  woman  is  unable  to  relax.  the  sereneness  of  it  all  is  unsettling,  the  outside  world  BRUTUAL  &  RAW,  inside  these  walls  were  untouched  and  secure.  there’s  a  smile  appearing  on  lips,  when  familiar  face  of  husband  is  found. ❛ looked  like  you  were  restin’  well,  didn’t  wanna  wake  you.  ❜  gentle  kiss  is  placed  upon  his  cheek,  just  like  one  she  had  placed  before  sneaking  out  of  bed.  ❛  thought  i’d  be  more  useful  out  here.  ❜

          she hasn’t felt this  in such a long time.  relief.  a weight being lifted off her shoulders, no more fear of the saviors, no more fear of negan killing more of their people.  they’re finally safe from the war.

          her smile is soft, and she places a light hand on his shoulder.  ❛ we did it...  and we’re all okay. ❜  she’s surprised that they hadn’t lost anyone else during this final battle.  she’d expected it, expected to lose someone else, maybe even herself...  but that hadn’t happened.  and they were okay.
