𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋 , picked up after years of practise . grown , from some small part of the self , into an overarching entity . it’s a case of survival , really , for without reason even the biggest things in the universe become utterly pointless . such things like death ; that is natural , despite how he may dodge such a thing on a frequent basis . 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 & 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐀 𝐂𝐘𝐂𝐋𝐄 , they always will be , even when life seems worthless and death seems meaningless -------------- one is always part of something bigger than themselves . the ultimate flow from one thing to another , time only passes when there are things to pass time through . the collapse of a star might be one of the most prominent examples of this ; death unto evolution .
but to say that , as he looks upon the destruction that is lain out before them , that he can’t understand her point ... well , that would be entirely inaccurate . everything is still and cold and barren , whatever caused this massacre long since gone . it’s a heartbreaking sight .
he hesitates a moment , drawing in a breath . he considers his words carefully , which quite honestly is something he rarely does . 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐒𝐎 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐄 , and its a position of reason versus heart . something he struggles with frequently . ❝ someone ... or something ... must have had one . whether that reason is justifiable is very much a different story . now , come on , there’s nothing to be gained by standing here gawping except for a fine coat of dust . ❞
