Wincing, hissing, his palm went to the back of his head- with how hard he hit the ground, there was no doubt he would’ve walked away from it without getting hurt. Just touching it made him bite his lip as he tried to sit up, only to lay straight back down when a dizzy spell barraged his senses.
“I’ll be fine. I’ve seen worse, trust me.” He barely rasped it out without a noise of pain interrupting him, voice low and rather rough, though neither was a surprise, much less unusual. Really, the difference was how quiet his voice was compared to it’s normal, booming quality. Out of embarrassment of being seen in vulnerability, or because of the pain pounding in his head, he wasn’t sure.
