something michel loves about lycans and their culture is just how closely bonded they are, no matter their connection. the sense of community is infectious as he meets up at one of the lycans’ place, aiming to discuss things further with those in the liberation. since his expulsion from the corvinus mansion, he’s become friends with a few of the lycans, interested in getting to know a culture and people he’s hardly been familiar with up until this point. however, these intentions eventually became scrapped as he spotted a familiar face.
you see, a few years ago, michel fucked up. admittedly, once in a while he likes to treat himself to using his fangs and chooses to overfeed, killing the human. and when he does this, his targets typically include wall street douches or simply those he assumes to be assholes. however, one of those casualties arose from the dead, becoming immortal. and don’t get him wrong, he doesn’t mind stepping into a mentor-like role when need be — i mean, he practically raised magdelena and he’s becoming close to kaz in a similar way. but if he’s also hoping that if he tells himself enough times that he didn’t just fucking accidentally turn somebody, then it didn’t happen and he wouldn’t have to feel the heightened guilt of it all.
but suddenly that flawed facade crumbles, just like that, as he sees his progeny who he’s avoided for some time. at a fucking lycan hangout of all places. who knew. he’s sort of proud, come to think of it. either way, he attempts to keep his distance as he crosses away from him to the other side of the room, striking up a conversation with someone else there.
